Owned and operated by Tifco Hotel Group under a franchise agreement with Travelodge UK, the event offered Hotel General Manager, Stephan Ernest and his team a fantastic opportunity to showcase the property’s incredible location and facilities, including its superb 393 bedrooms and stylish bespoke ground floor food and beverage offering, mossco restaurant, bar and terrace.

Speaking at the launch, Tifco CEO, Enda O’Meara said:

Tifco is delighted to introduce a new hotel brand to Ireland with the launch of the Travelodge PLUS Dublin City Centre, now the largest budget hotel in the country. A hotel with style and comfort, its prime location will make it particularly attractive to local corporates and Convention Centre Dublin delegates, theatre and concert-goers, with all venues conveniently located on the hotel’s doorstep.”

Travelodge PLUS Dublin City Centre is located on the corner of Moss Street and Townsend Street in Dublin 2, an extremely central location, steps from the Convention Centre and the IFSC and with ease of access to all local business districts, Silicon Docks, the tech and financial hubs and Dublin Port. Travelodge PLUS Dublin City Centre is also within walking distance to 3Arena and Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, plus other entertainment venues, city centre tourist attractions and shopping areas.

Designed by renowned architectural practice MCA Architects, Travelodge PLUS Dublin City Centre is a dramatic and attractive contemporary building with glazed facades and a natural stone and brick finish, using a variety of elevational styles to enhance and integrate the local streetscape.
